ASTRO

This is a 'retro' Astro home page, the way it looked in the earliest days of the web at Temple University circa 1995.
For more current information, visit the Computer Services web pages.

The Astro computer system consists of a pair of Compaq AlphaServer 4100 systems that form a TruCluster. Astro is a two-node cluster of high performance 64 bit, 600Mhz+ multi-CPU computer systems. Both cluster nodes run Compaq Tru64 Unix 4.0d.

The services provided by the Unix Cluster include login shells, pop/imap services, web page services, and various others which the Unix operating system is capable of supporting.
